Cross Country is open to the Lower/Middle and High School students.   Each student should bring a water bottle, proper running shoes that fit, and exercise clothing to practice. The school will provide BHA shirts for our meets. As a part of the uniform, please have your student wear black athletic shorts. Yoga shorts or other spandex can be worn under these black shorts if desired, but not by themselves.

This year, we will have four meets, each at Curry-Ingram Academy. In addition to working on long-distance running, we will focus on beginners strength training, flexibility, agility, and endurance. If your student has any health concerns, please let me know. Practice will be from 3:15pm-4:15pm with meets on Mondays, each beginning at 4:30pm.   For meets, please arrive at 3:50pm or close to 4pm at Currey-Ingram´s campus, but not before since people are still being picked up from CIA. Students will stay at BHA after school and ride together to meets. Parents will pick up their student from Currey-Ingram. The bus will NOT return to BHA after the meets.  In the meets 3rd and 4th graders will run 1 mile,  5th through 8th graders will run 1.5 miles and  9th through 12th graders will run 3.1 miles.

The BHA Sports Banquet will be held in the Spring on Thursday, May 3rd at 9:00am.
